From Newry

Drive through Newry and then via the dual carriageway for 7 miles to Warrenpoint. Drive straight through Warrenpoint and turn left for Rostrevor along the coast Rd. Drive straight through Rostrevor Village and up the hill, passing a Church at the top of the hill on the right, and then passing a telephone kiosk also on the right. Take the first road to the right, which is the “Newtown Road”. Santa’s Cottage is approx 4 miles from here. Keep driving on the Newtown Rd, you will pass over a small bridge firstly and then a large narrow bridge which takes you through a forest area. You have now entered “Santa Land”; keep driving until you come out of the forest area and approx 1 mile, further into the valley you will see Santa’s Cottage on the left hand side of the Road.

From Rathfriland

Drive to Hilltown, turn left at the hotel, and drive down the hill. At the bridge turn right and drive along the Kilkeel Road for approx 2 miles. Take the first road to the right, called the Sandbank Road, and keep driving for approx 4 miles, passing the “Leitrim Forest Picnic Area” on the left. Santa’s Cottage is approx 1 mile further on the right hand side of the road.

From Downpatrick

Drive to Clough, turn right for Castlewellan. Drive through Castlewellan, through Kilcoo village and turn left for Hilltown. As you drive towards Hilltown you will drive round a sharp bend, passing a Church and a school on your left. Prior to the bridge you turn left at the signs: “Santa’s Cottage, Kilkeel Spelga”. Drive on the Kilkeel Rd for approx 2 miles and take the first Rd to the right, called the Sandbank Rd. Drive for approx 4 miles, passing the Leitrim Forest Picnic Area on left. Drive for another mile, you will see Santa’s Cottage on the right hand side of the road.
